Club Fees

Joining Fee for Squads - £85.00 which includes a club top, costume, hat and A.S.A. insurance for the first year of membership.

Joining Fee for Academy - £20.00 which includes insurance.

Annual Fee to be paid by every member in January to cover ASA insurance costs. £50.00 a year for Regional, County, Competitive and Rookie squads. £30.00 a year for Development and Academy. £20.00 a year for Fitness and Masters.


Monthly fees

Regional and County Squad Swimmers - £45.00 per month 

Competitive and Rookie Squad Swimmers - £40.00 per month 

Development and Academy - £30.00 per month

Fitness and Masters - £20.00 a month (1 swim a week), £28.00 a month (2 swims a week)

(A £5.00 a month discount applies for each younger sibbling swimming at the club)


Attendance Requirements

Regional Squad

This level of training is targeted at those swimmers wishing to compete at Regional level and above. Invitation to join this level of training will only be offered following recommendation from the coaching staff and following a meeting with both parent and swimmer. The main training sessions are in the mornings and are of a longer duration. Strength and Conditioning training is also available (by invitation only) for additional core body strength. The commitment to this level of training, by both swimmer and parent, requires consistent attendance throughout the season.

  • minimum 5 sessions a week including 2 mandatory mornings per week (n.b. swimmers needing to leave early during morning training should discuss this with the Head Coach)
  • ability to train at threshold level sets (Head Coach decision)
  • attend Strength and Conditioning session if invited
  • optional Land Training session
  • attend Open Meets (Cat 2 req.)
  • attend Team Galas if selected
  • attend Time Trials
  • enter Club Championships

County Squad

This level of training is targeted at those swimmers wishing to compete at Essex County level and above. Invitation to join this level of training will only be offered following recommendation from the coaching staff and following a meeting with both parent and swimmer. The main training sessions are in the mornings and are of a longer duration. Strength and Conditioning training is also available (by invitation only) for additional core body strength.  The commitment to this level of training, by both swimmer and parent, requires consistent attendance throughout the season.

Competitive Squad

This level of training is targeted at those swimmers wishing to remain competitive and to compete at Open Meets and Club Team Galas. Training sessions are time based and require the ability to complete repetition swimming. Morning training sessions are available for those swimmers looking to progress to county level swimming. Land training is also available for additional core body strength. The commitment to this level of training requires consistent attendance throughout the season. 

  • minimum 3 sessions a week including 1 mandatory morning per week (n.b. swimmers needing to leave early during morning training should discuss this with the Head Coach)
  • attend Land Training session
  • attend Open Meets (Cat 2 req.)
  • attend Team Galas if selected
  • attend Time Trials
  • enter Club Championships

Rookies Squad

This level of training is targeted at young swimmers wishing to be competitive and to compete at Open Meets and Club Team Galas. Progressive training sets are used to offer swimmers the opportunity to aim for higher competitive levels. Morning training sessions are available for those swimmers looking to progress to county level swimming. The commitment to this level of training requires consistent attendance throughout the season.

  • minimum 3 sessions a week including 1 mandatory morning per week (n.b. swimmers needing to leave early during morning training should discuss this with the Head Coach)
  • attend Land Training session
  • attend Team Galas if selected
  • attend Open Meets when requested (Cat 2 reg.)
  • attend Time Trials
  • enter Club Championships
